prosthetist | orthotist

Dana Green

Dana Green is our ABC certified prosthetist/orthotist who joined Walker O&P in  2024.  Originally from North Carolina, Dana attended Western Carolina University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology.  She moved to California to obtain her Master’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics at California State University Dominquez Hills.  After part-time positions at O&P clinics while pursuing her degree, she began her career as a prosthetist/orthotist at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation institute near Los Angeles, where she spent six years.  While at Rancho, she focused her leadership at the Amputee and Polio Clinic.  She worked with an integrated health team consisting of physician, PT and OT on many neurological conditions such as stroke, CP, Guillan Barre, Polio, various levels of Spinal Cord Injuries, Spina Bifida, Epileptic disorders, diabetic neuropathy, Charcot foot, ankle and knee and various levels of amputation.  She specialized in custom-made solutions with both innovative and more traditional style prosthetics and orthotics.

Dana spends considerable time helping out in the community, particularly with adaptive sports.  She has volunteered with many activities including wheelchair sports of basketball, tennis, BMX, golf, archery, and soccer.  She participates with Extra Special People and helps as a buddy in running events and triathlons with the emphasis on helping teach amputees how to run.  She also mentors students at Walker who are interested in entering the O&P field.  When she is not busy with work or volunteering, she does Cross Fit and participates in a variety of sports activities and races.

Office Manager

Daphne Casolari

Daphne Casolari is our Office Manager.  She began with us in 2006 as a patient representative,  helping steer patients through their experience here and taking care of general office duties.  After working in all office capacities for several years, she eventually was promoted to office manager and expanded her role in a variety of ways including billing administration.  She is very knowledgeable of the ins and outs of insurance coverage by the various insurers, which makes her a great advocate for the patient.  She works tirelessly with the insurers as well as our patients’ medical providers to obtain whatever documentation is needed for us to provide the best patient care.  Anyone who has ever been to our clinic has probably spoken with or met Daphne and experienced her friendly and thorough manner.  In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her goats and spending time with her family.  She resides in Adairsville with her husband, Joey and their son Brayden.

Orthotic Fitter

Mandy Howell

Mandy Howell is also a very experienced team member and serves as our orthotic fitter.  She joined us in 2011 as a patient representative where she also mastered many administrative areas of the office including working with insurers.  In 2014 she was promoted to orthotic fitter where she learned and mastered the proper fitting of all types of braces.  A great ambassador for our clinic and the industry, she has developed and fostered many relationships with providers and medical administrators in the community.  Because of her administrative background, she regularly works as a “utility player” and fills in wherever needed. In her free time, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family. She resides in Rome with her daughter, Jayda and bonus daughter, Christlyn.

President | Co-Owner

Grant Espy

Grant.jpg

Grant Espy is President and co-owner of the clinic.  He and his partners came on board in 2019 to spend the rest of his career here.  As is the case with any small organizations, he serves in a variety of capacities including orthotic fitting, financial oversight, accounts payable, general management and strategy, compliance, and anything else that needs to be done.  With a long background in banking, he brings the financial and business expertise needed to go with the clinical excellence we provide.  In his minimal free time he enjoys DIY projects at home, exercise, reading, and an occasional trip to a new state.  His kids are now grown and flown, so he continues to reside in Rome with his wife, Kelly.

Co-Owner

Kelly McClain Espy

Kelly McClain Espy is co-owner of the clinic.  While she consults on many strategic and operational matters of our clinic, she spends most of her time running her pelvic floor physical therapy practice, established in 2020.  A physical therapist since 1994, she is well-suited to collaborate with our CPO regarding ambulatory issues for our patients.  With her precious little free time, she loves to exercise, read, cook, and travel.  She has raised her children who are in college or living on their own, and continues to reside in Rome with her husband, Grant.
